剧 情 介 绍 ：
本剧讲述了状元实业家张謇创办大生企业，实业报国的故事。甲午战争后，国家蒙羞，张謇虽高中状元，却渴望寻求强国之路。他毅然弃政从商，殚精竭虑，创办了中国第一家民营纺织企业大生纱厂。经历集资风波等种种挫折后，大生纱厂走上正轨。在积极发展实业的同时，张謇始终关注国家命运，但他的“温和变法”主张遭到朝廷打击，失望之极，决心通过办实业，兴教育开启民智。但外国势力对中国市场虎视眈眈，日商藤田一郎疯狂挤压中国企业，掠夺原料市场。张謇另辟蹊径，兴办盐垦公司，扩展业务范畴，将民族企业不断发展壮大。同时，其在南通兴办各项民生事业，创办各种门类的基础学校。南通开全国风气之先，得到各界关注。但张謇生逢乱世，壮志难酬，大生事业走向衰落，其积劳成疾，抱憾而终。
