剧 情 介 绍 ：
三十年代初的北京。 富家子弟谢益亭迷恋于曲艺，酷爱相声，一心想下海从艺并与“德燕班”唱大鼓的女艺人白牡丹心心相印。张素馨一直暗恋着谢益亭，为此十分失落。 谢家乃京城大户，将益亭视为叛逆之子。在一次救场演出中，益亭不顾家中阻拦毅然登台，不料得罪了谢家世仇杨凤梅，由此引发了两府的殊死争斗。地痞袁贵在杨凤梅的唆使下，百般迫害谢益亭，并强娶张素馨为妻。 面对仇家频频发难和儿子辱没门风，谢府老爷谢辅臣仇愤交加，被活活气死，不久，益亭被哥哥谢宜斋逐出家门。然而，谢益亭对相声已是迷恋的如醉如痴，置贫富、生死于不顾，矢志不渝地下海拜师，取艺名宝忠，开始了演艺生涯。 杨凤梅勾结袁贵，使谢宝忠屡遭毒手，流落街头。张素馨旧情未断，暗中相助，终使宝忠一举成名。谢益亭的师弟王宝信出于嫉妒，投靠杨凤梅的丈夫、恶霸高伯太手下，挑拨离间，设计陷害，谢宝忠身败名裂。 杂耍班老艺人开口...
