剧 情 介 绍 ：

早年丧夫的田母（余敏贞饰），历尽苦难，饱经沧桑，直至儿孙绕膝、四世同堂。 然而，众多亲戚隔三差五地登门造访，在田家平静的生活中激起片片涟漪。引发了一连串耐人寻味的悲喜故事。如姐妹之间的遗产之争、六舅偷车事件、表弟的乞丐帮、父子的婚外情、弟弟的离同居、奶奶寻亲的苦涩，女婿的捐肾风波等等。送走了房客之后，田教授（谢钢饰）家好生安静了一阵子，直到田教授目睹了一场车祸——肇事逃逸的男子正是自己连襟的弟弟张德新，而被撞的老人则是妻子堂弟刘天伟（黄渤饰）的老丈人。田教授毅然揭露车祸真相，从而被张德新记恨，最终被阴谋陷害剥夺了上课的权力，无奈之下只好退休。此时，田教授的母亲因思念曾经送人的女儿，整日以泪洗面，而田教授儿子思文（何建泽饰）的客户于娜，却以生意为借口，赤裸裸地向思文表白，搅得田家不得安宁，她正是田教授母亲的外孙女，误认为田家当初抛弃了自己的母亲，心生怨...
