剧 情 介 绍 ：
清朝宣统年间，曾经经历过康乾盛世的满清王朝早已到了日薄西山、行将就木的时刻，如今仅有一缕王气苦苦支撑着积重难返的帝国走向败亡。福王爷的儿子寿元（冯远征 饰）匆匆从日本赶回，送走了父亲并承袭了王位，随后被封为军咨府大臣御前行走，授禁卫军副都统。接收了发达国家先进思想和制度熏陶的寿元，将平生所学用在禁卫军操练中，由此遭到许多人的倾轧和指责。这一事件似乎注定了寿元生活在一个不合时宜的时代，他无法和所爱的女人相守，也在王朝覆灭和革命烽火的时代浪潮下随波逐流。
空有名头的寿王爷，站在恶浪滔天的礁石上求索着自己和家国的未来……
