剧情介绍：

　　20世纪20年代末，拥有不幸身世和遭遇的美丽女子顾海棠（秦岚饰）带着女孩菱子逃往上海，在这个鱼龙混杂的魔都艰难求生。期间她重逢当初曾救助过的男人于立凡（郑嘉颖饰）。于毕业于黄埔军校，此番他为了配合工人运动抵沪。而生活在社会最底层，见识过人性最丑陋一面的海棠，凭借一身胆识和智慧周旋于地头蛇黄龙（杨烁饰）等身份复杂的人中间，却有如一只出淤泥而不染的莲花，在极度肮脏的环境中绽放出灿烂鲜艳的花朵。她一步步成为在上海滩举足轻重的任务，同时不曾遗失善良慈悲的本性，尽一切努力帮助苦难民众，协助于立凡的革命事业。
